Kara Barnes launched Arrow Accounting Co. in 2020 with a clear mission. She wanted to provide small businesses with reliable, relationship-focused financial support that goes far beyond the numbers. Based in Wooster and Dalton, Ohio, Kara brings over 13 years of experience in accounting and auditing, along with a passion for simplifying financial processes so business owners can focus on what matters most: growth.
Kara has both an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics from Baldwin Wallace University. She’s also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a respected expert in modern accounting systems. Her professional background includes auditing roles at HBK CPAs and Park National Bank, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of compliance.
At Arrow Accounting, Kara specializes in QuickBooks Online setup and training, bookkeeping clean-up, payroll management, financial coaching, and tax compliance. She’s also a local leader in business education, recently headlining the 2025 Chamber Business Series on QuickBooks Online.
